Aurora Networks and Adara Partner on Hosted DAA/PON 

Aurora Networks, a business of Vistance Networks, and Adara Technologies announced a strategic partnership to deliver a hosted and managed Distributed Access Architecture (DAA) and Passive Optical Networking (PON) platform aimed at accelerating deployment of multi-gigabit broadband services. The combined offering integrates Aurora’s broadband access hardware and software portfolio with Adara’s cloud-native management platform and managed services, giving operators a unified environment for managing hybrid fiber-coax (HFC) and fiber access networks.

The partnership targets broadband operators seeking to extend the life of existing DOCSIS infrastructure while preparing for long-term fiber deployments. Adara’s hosted platform supports migration from DOCSIS 3.0 through 50G PON using a vendor-agnostic architecture designed to minimize stranded capital investments. Additional capabilities include cloud-based subscriber provisioning, geo-distributed redundancy, subscriber-centric service management, and real-time analytics intended to simplify operations while supporting new broadband service offerings.

Aurora contributes its portfolio of virtualized access platforms, including vCCAP Evo for DOCSIS networks and vBNG Evo for subscriber management, along with Remote PHY Devices (RPDs), Remote MACPHY Devices (RMDs), fiber nodes, and PON Evo optical line terminals supporting 50G PON coexistence. The companies said the integrated Hosted & Managed DAA/PON Platform will be demonstrated during The Independent Show, hosted by NCTC and ACAC, in Orlando from July 26-29.
