BellSouth signed a five-year exclusive marketing alliance with DIRECTV, allowing it to offer digital satellite entertainment service to its customers. This agreement extends an existing contract and also creates a new sales channel for BellSouth FastAccess DSL services.
More than 523,000 customers have added DIRECTV service to their BellSouth Answers bundle since 2004. http://www.bellsouth.com
