DFN Adopts Render Networks to Scale Fiber Expansion in Southern Oregon

Douglas Fast Net (DFN) has selected Render Networks’ construction management platform to accelerate the expansion of its fiber broadband network in Southern Oregon. The move aims to streamline network construction and improve scalability as DFN extends high-speed internet access to more communities.

DFN, a 100% local fiber provider, serves residential, business, and government customers across rural Oregon. Managing construction at scale has become increasingly complex as demand for fiber grows. By leveraging Render’s real-time digital mapping and automated workflow capabilities, DFN will optimize productivity, improve project visibility, and reduce reliance on manual processes. The platform will also enable DFN to coordinate multiple construction crews more effectively.

By replacing paper-based systems with Render’s digital platform, DFN gains real-time progress tracking and automated as-built data collection, enhancing operational efficiency. The company also cited Render’s Blueprinting feature—which converts network designs into structured work assignments—as a key factor in the decision.

• DFN selects Render Networks to improve fiber network expansion.

• The platform replaces manual processes with digital project tracking.

• Render’s Blueprinting feature automates network construction workflows.

• DFN aims to scale operations and manage construction crews more efficiently.

• The partnership supports DFN’s mission to expand high-speed fiber in rural Oregon.

“As we continue to grow, ensuring the accuracy of our construction operations and scalability of our processes is critical,” said Todd Way, CEO of DFN. “Render’s platform stood out for its ease of use and ability to support organizations like ours in scaling operations efficiently.”
