Limelight Networks is deploying Foundry’s NetIron XMR routers to scale its content delivery network for digital media. Specifically, Limelight will install the NetIron XMR IP/MPLS routers in all its Content Delivery Network (CDN) centers to handle its massive, globally distributed peering and direct broadband connectivity worldwide.
“We’re in the midst of accelerating growth in the distribution of digital media — we expect that our CDN services will more than double in traffic volume in 2006,” said Nathan Raciborski, CTO of Limelight Networks.
