Mavenir Raises $13 Million in Venture Funding

Mavenir Systems, a start-up based in Richardson, Texas with offices in Shanghai, announced $13.1 million in venture funding for its work in mobile multimedia systems. The company said it is focused on the convergence services market. Product plans have not been disclosed. Investors included Austin Ventures and North Bridge Venture Partners.
