Motorola plans to introduced an OpenCable Applications Platform (OCAP)) Simulator and Software Development Kit (SDK) for cable operators and independent application developers in late 2007.
OCAP allows for the creation of new, innovative and interactive applications to enhance the customer experience.
Motorola said its new simulator and SDK helps enable developers to more cost effectively develop new applications for the OCAP environment.
