Navini Networks reported that commercial deployments of its pre- mobile WiMAX networks by its customers worldwide have reached over 100,000 consumer subscribers.
Unwired Australia, with the world’s largest personal broadband network, had 36,600 self-install subscribers in Sydney at the end of September — just over a year after its launch.
Navini said 802.16e ratification, spectrum harmonization and inter- network roaming will provide further impetus for the growth of personal broadband.
