Designed for mid-sized deployments, the MF-8 supports 10/25/50G and is prepared for future 100G services. This platform aims to meet the rising demand for high-capacity broadband in various settings, including residential and industry-focused applications. The Lightspan MF-8 ensures six-nines availability, sub-millisecond latency, and eliminates single points of failure, making it a reliable option for critical services in central offices, data centers, and network cabinets.
Powered by Nokia’s Quillion chipset, the MF-8 allows for deployment in a range of locations, adapting to different operator needs. Its advanced capabilities offer scalable broadband solutions across multiple environments, enhancing the company’s Lightspan multi-gig portfolio. The MF-8 follows earlier models, such as the smaller MF-2 and larger MF-14, which support higher-volume PON services.
