Texas Instruments and Tata Elxsi Deliver 802.16e System

Texas Instruments and Tata Elxsi announce their collaboration on an end-to-end base band demonstration system for IEEE 802.16e mobile WiMAX infrastructure products, enabling manufacturers to quickly roll out flexible base stations. The new design combines both the hardware and software required for system implementation, including a fully integrated Media Access Controller (MAC).
