In response to requests from hyper scale customers, Marvell pioneering a new class of “coherent-lite” connectivity.

Achyut Shah, SVP and GM, Connectivity from Marvell explains:

– Coherent-lite bridges the gap between short-distance PAM and long-distance coherent technologies
– It offers extended reach (2-20km) while maintaining low latency, power, and cost benefits
– The solution uses coherent modulation with O-band optics, addressing customer needs for intermediate-reach connectivity
