MACOM Posts 32% YoY Revenue Growth in Fiscal Q3 2025

MACOM Technology Solutions reported strong financial results for its fiscal third quarter ended July 4, 2025, with revenue climbing to $252.1 million—up 32.3% year-over-year and 6.9% sequentially. GAAP net income rose to $36.5 million ($0.48 per diluted share), compared to $19.9 million ($0.27 per share) in the same quarter a year ago. Adjusted (non-GAAP) earnings reached $0.90 per diluted share, reflecting continued margin expansion and operating leverage.

Gross margin expanded to 55.3% on a GAAP basis, with adjusted gross margin ticking up to 57.6%. Operating income increased to $37.7 million (14.9% of revenue), while adjusted operating income hit $63.5 million (25.2% of revenue). Adjusted EBITDA stood at $70.4 million or 27.9% of revenue. The company also posted strong cash flows from operations of $165.7 million for the first nine months of the fiscal year, despite increased investments in inventory and property.

Looking ahead to Q4, MACOM expects revenue between $256 million and $264 million, with adjusted earnings per share in the $0.91–$0.95 range. The outlook assumes an adjusted gross margin of 56–58% and a 3% non-GAAP tax rate. The company reaffirmed its strategic focus on diversified markets, including data centers, telecom, industrial, and defense applications.
