Equinix (Nasdaq: EQIX) appointed Dr. Yanbing Li, Chief Product Officer at Datadog, to its Board of Directors. Li brings over two decades of leadership experience in AI, cloud, enterprise software, and global operations, with a record of building and scaling billion-dollar businesses.

Before Datadog, Li served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Aurora, overseeing software development for its commercial driverless trucking platform. She also held senior roles at Google Cloud, leading multiple product areas including Cloud Commerce and Cloud Operations, and at VMware, where she was SVP and GM of the Storage and Availability Business Unit. Li previously served on the boards of AVEVA and NeoPhotonics, holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Princeton University, and completed the Stanford Executive Program in 2014.

Equinix Executive Chairman Charles Meyers praised Li’s combination of innovation and operational experience, noting her background aligns with Equinix’s next growth phase. “Yanbing is a proven technology and business leader with deep expertise in AI, cloud, enterprise software and global operations,” Meyers said. “She brings a proven track record for innovation and execution… We’re thrilled to welcome her to the Board.”
