A A

What’s driving the future of high-speed connectivity in 2025?

Michael Klempa, Product Marketing Engineer from Alphawave Semi offers some predictions:

– AI networks will push towards 400G signaling speeds, forcing the industry to develop new networking solutions under compressed timelines

– Traditional technologies used at 50G-200G may be abandoned as the industry reconsiders modulation schemes and form factors for 400G connectivity

– Coherent optical technologies will expand into shorter-reach applications while scaling to 1.6T per wavelength to meet bandwidth demands
