Meraki Networks introduced a Wi-Fi outdoor repeater and solar panel. The Meraki Outdoor unit is priced at $99 and can send a signal up to 213 meters (700 feet). The unit can be installed on a wall or pole outside a house, enabling a nearby broadband connection to be shared with dozens of households in the vicinity. The solar panel enables the repeater to broadcast a signal without being connected to any electrical source. The solar kit includes a solar panel, battery pack and an outdoor Ethernet cable.
