Stark Power to Acquire Sagebrush Infra, Securing 5.6 GW

June 8, 2026
in AI Infrastructure
A A

Stark Power announced plans to acquire Sagebrush Infrastructure Partners, adding a 5.6 GW pipeline of U.S. data center development opportunities as demand for AI infrastructure continues to accelerate. The acquisition significantly expands Stark Power’s presence in the rapidly growing market for large-scale AI and cloud computing campuses.

The combined organization will focus on delivering power infrastructure and development services for hyperscale and AI-focused data center projects. Access to power capacity has become one of the primary constraints facing AI infrastructure expansion, with developers increasingly seeking locations capable of supporting multi-hundred-megawatt and gigawatt-scale deployments.

Stark Power said the transaction strengthens its ability to support customers requiring large-scale electrical infrastructure, grid interconnection expertise, and long-term power planning for next-generation AI facilities. The acquisition reflects continued industry investment in power generation, transmission, and energy infrastructure supporting the AI buildout.
