BroadLight Releases its XGPON Silicon

BroadLight announced commercial availability of standard compliant ITU-T G.987 XGPON OLT and ONT silicon.

XGPON supports 10Gbps downstream and 2.5Gbps upstream rates. Broadlight is the first in the market with a commercial standard compliant (ITU-T G.987) XGPON OLT and ONT solution.
