Credo Launches PILOT Analytics to Boost Link Reliability

Credo Technology has introduced PILOT, a new diagnostics and analytics software platform aimed at enhancing the reliability and performance of high-speed connectivity links across hyperscale data centers and AI infrastructure. The PILOT platform—short for Predictive Integrity, Link Optimization, and Telemetry—delivers real-time monitoring and predictive diagnostics for SerDes IP, retimer ICs, and system-level Active Electrical Cables (AECs), significantly reducing the risk of link flaps that can interrupt large-scale AI workloads.

Designed with mission-critical environments in mind, PILOT monitors signal integrity metrics such as eye quality, SNR, and error rates per lane, providing early detection of potential degradation. Through AI-driven predictive diagnostics, administrators can take preemptive action during maintenance windows, reducing unplanned downtime. PILOT also features a secure, customizable architecture with open APIs, encrypted telemetry, and support for zero-trust security policies.

PILOT is available for evaluation on Credo’s PCIe retimers, with rollout planned across its broader connectivity portfolio. “By combining advanced telemetry with system-level debug tools, we’re enabling our customers to maintain high-performance, low-power links at scale—minimizing the risk of unexpected link failures or flapping that can disrupt AI workloads and cloud services,” said Bill Brennan, CEO of Credo.

  • PILOT software supports SerDes, retimers, and AECs
  • Real-time telemetry includes eye quality, SNR, and error rates
  • Predictive diagnostics reduce downtime in dense rack-scale deployments
  • Secure boot, encrypted reports, and zero-trust support built in
  • Now available for PCIe retimers, with broader rollout ahead
